Son las 6.30 de la mañana y Armando y Pablo, quedan bajo sus casas con la furgoneta de Ovida, para ir a recoger al resto de los #dejamers que formarán parte del equipo.
A las 6.40 aproximadamente ya hemos recogido a Jesús en el barrio del Coto (Gijón) y nos dirigimos a la Venta la Puga, para buscar a la gran protagonista del día de hoy Carolina, que viene acompañada como siempre por su madre Lidia. Todos puntuales, vamos a hacer la última parada en Noreña para buscar a Adriana y nos vamos ya directos hacia Llanes. Las risas, a pesar de las horas son la nota dominante durante todo el viaje que hacemos sin mayores complicaciones.
Llegamos al pueblo, donde una vez preguntado nos explican como llegar a la explanada donde esta ubicada la carpa de salida, la cual tiene un difícil acceso entre caleyas, más aún yendo con la furgoneta que es bastante grande, pero al final conseguimos nuestro objetivo y logramos aparcar la furgo, para posteriormente, saludar al resto de los miembros del equipo Rober, Carmen, Sara y el otro gran protagonista del día Juan Fernández Llames, acompañado por sus guías Javi y Fino.
Montamos la silla de montaña y nos disponemos a tomar la salida, en la cual se encontraban algunos #dejamers, que esta vez iban a disputar la prueba por su cuenta, pero que siempre es un placer saludar y compartir charla y risas con ellos, como Mino, Juan Ordieres, Gueli, Silvia, Solis, Eli….
Tomamos la salida, la emoción se palpa, el tiempo de momento aguanta y la lluvia que daban de momento no hace mucho acto de presencia. La sonrisa de Carolina nos empuja a todos y el entusiasmo de Juanin por llevarla más aún.
Vamos pasando los 12 kilómetros de los que constaba la caminata, entre parajes muy bonitos, con la sierra del Cuera acompañándonos en todo momento.
Las risas, los nervios, la tensión que se vive en las bajadas y subidas, para que todo salga bien, en resumen la camaradería se palpa a cada paso que damos. Recibimos los aplausos de los lugareños y voluntarios que estaban en los avituallamientos y pueblos por los que ibamos pasando. Carolina aunque nerviosa, no suelta la sonrisa de su boca y Juanin, pasa por todas las partes de la silla empujando como el que más y siendo parte de esta aventura como el que más.
Finalmente llegamos a meta al trote entre los ánimos de los allí presentes, la emoción es grande al ver como incluso Juanin una persona invidente total, llevaba la silla por delante sin ningún problema, demostrando que con ganas, coraje, fuerza y cariño, nada es imposible en esta vida seas como seas o tengas la discapacidad que tengas.
Después de un rato esperando a que llegasen todos los participantes de la prueba larga de 32 km, la organización tuvo un gran detalle con nosotros, entregándole tanto a Juan, como a Carolina sendos trofeos por su participación en la carrera, desde luego un detalle que pone el broche de oro a un día que nunca ni ellos, ni nosotros olvidaremos.
Odisea final para sacar la furgo del barro, aunque finalmente salimos sin problema, dejando de nuevo a la gente en sus casas, con la satisfacción de haber pasado un gran día, aunque cansados ya después del madrugón y de tantas emociones…
